This course provides trainees with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform safe and effective welding and basic fabrication tasks in an industrial setting. Learners are trained in the use of common welding processes, including manual metal arc welding (MMAW/Stick) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), along with proper material preparation, joint setup, and finishing techniques.

Emphasis is placed on workplace safety, correct use of tools and equipment, interpretation of technical drawings, and producing welds that meet industry quality standards. Through a combination of theory and hands-on practical exercises, trainees develop competence in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling metal components for real-world applications.

By the end of the course, participants are able to fabricate basic structures, apply appropriate welding procedures, and work according to standard trade practices.
